Before there was a shop, there was a dreamer.
Like many dreamers, life eventually taught her how to survive.
Over time, survival became familiar. It became a skill. A strength. A way of moving through the world.
And then came a period of profound change.
Relationships shifted. Identity shifted.
The relationship with self shifted.
The relationship with family shifted.
The relationship with purpose shifted.
What followed was not a single moment of transformation, but a spiritual rebirth built brick by brick.
As the dreamer slowly found her way back, a new idea began to emerge.
Not a business. Not yet.
A page.
A space to share what was being learned along the way.
That space became Survivor of Eden.
The name arrived during a birthday trip to Marrakesh, at a time when the foundations of a new chapter were being laid.
And somehow, it fit perfectly.
Because Eden's original sin is not ancient history.
Every day, people are judged for how they choose to live, love, dream, create, heal, believe, grieve, and grow.
We are all, in one way or another, trying to survive the court of society's opinion of how we are meant to live our lives.
Survivor of Eden became a reminder that there is another way.
A way back to authenticity. A way back to meaning.
A way back to the parts of ourselves that existed before we started living for everyone else's expectations.
For eight months, Survivor of Eden remained an idea.
Then the idea developed a life of its own.
On 26 January 2026, Survivor of Eden opened as a small crystal shop on Instagram.
Somewhere along the way, resin entered the story.
By April, handmade creations were finding their way into new homes.
By May, Intuitive Creations and larger custom orders were travelling far beyond what had ever been imagined.
What started as a page became a shop.
What started as a shop became a community.
And the journey is still only beginning.
Today, Survivor of Eden is home to carefully selected crystals, handmade resin creations, memorial pieces, bespoke commissions, Intuitive Creations, the stories that grow around them, and the right amount of everyday magic.
Some pieces are found.
Others are created.
All are chosen with intention.
Our Statement

This was never meant to be just a store.
It started quietly — in moments of change, in the spaces between who I was and who I was becoming.
Working as a nurse, I’ve always been close to people in their most vulnerable states.
And over time, I began to understand something deeper — that energy, intention, and presence are not abstract things. They are felt.
Survivor of Eden was born from that awareness.
Every piece you find here is chosen — not mass-sourced, not selected at random.
Some are found. Others are created.
But all of them are guided by feeling.
I don’t choose based on trend or quantity.
Only what resonates stays.
This space extends beyond the website.
Through Instagram, a closer connection is formed — where pieces are sometimes requested, shaped, and created with specific intention.
This is for those who feel before they choose.
For those who don’t need explanation — only recognition.
This is not about having more.
It’s about finding what connects.
And when it does — you’ll know.
The Hands Behind Survivor of Eden
Survivor of Eden is created and cared for by Mariana, a Portuguese nurse, collector, creator, storyteller, and lifelong dreamer.
By profession, she works in healthcare, supporting people through some of life's most vulnerable moments. By nature, she has always been drawn to stories, symbolism, creativity, and the quiet magic hidden in everyday things.
What began as a personal journey eventually became Survivor of Eden — a space where crystals, handmade creations, memorial pieces, Intuitive Creations, and meaningful gifts could coexist under one roof.
More than a business, Survivor of Eden is an extension of Mariana's soul.
A place where curiosity is welcomed, beauty is celebrated, stories are honoured, and meaning matters.
Every crystal is chosen personally.
Every creation begins with intention.
Every commission carries a story.
And every parcel leaves carrying a small piece of the care, creativity, and wonder that inspired it.
From her little corner of South London to wherever these creations may travel, Mariana hopes Survivor of Eden remains a place where people feel seen, inspired, comforted, and occasionally reminded that a little everyday magic still exists.
When she is not creating, Mariana can usually be found surrounded by crystals, books, unfinished creative projects, cups of tea, and a small committee of cats who firmly believe they are in charge.
She still believes in dreamers.
She still believes in magic.
And she still believes that sometimes the right piece finds the right person exactly when it is needed.

What Matters Here
Survivor of Eden is built around a few simple ideas:
💜 Meaning over trends
💜 Connection over collection
💜 Authenticity over expectation
💜 Stories over sales
💜 Quality over quantity
💜 Choosing your own path over living somebody else's
Not every piece will be for everyone.
And that's exactly as it should be.
The right pieces tend to find the right people.
I don't know exactly where Survivor of Eden is heading next.
If the last few months have taught me anything, it is that some of the most meaningful chapters arrive completely unannounced.
What began as a page became a shop.
What began as a shop became a community.
And somewhere along the way, it became a home for stories, creativity, connection, and a little everyday magic.
Where it goes from here, I honestly don't know.
