Projects
Bespoke Commissions & Event Orders
Some creations begin with a mould.
Others begin with a story.
At Survivor of Eden, we offer a limited number of bespoke commissions and event projects throughout the year. Whether you are looking for a meaningful gift, an intuitive creation, wedding favours, baby shower keepsakes, corporate gifts, or a one-of-a-kind piece designed around a special person or occasion, we would be honoured to discuss your ideas.
Every project is approached with care, creativity, and attention to detail.
Because each piece is individually handmade, our process differs slightly from traditional retail orders.
Please note that the information provided on this page is intended as an introduction to our bespoke services and creative process.
Project-specific terms, timelines, payment arrangements, cancellation provisions, and any additional requirements will be confirmed individually for accepted commissions and may vary depending on the nature, complexity, and scope of each project.
What We Create
We may be available for:
π Bespoke Commissions
π Intuitive Pieces
π Wedding Favours
π Baby Shower Favours
π Naming Ceremony & Christening Keepsakes
π Retreat & Spiritual Event Gifts
π Corporate Gifts
π Special Occasion Collections
Not every project is the right fit for our studio, and that is perfectly alright.
We believe the best results come from mutual trust, clear communication, realistic expectations, and a shared appreciation for handmade work.
Event Orders & Volume Pricing
Special pricing may be available for larger orders using the same mould and overall design concept.
Volume pricing is intended for projects that benefit from production efficiencies and may not apply to heavily customised orders.
Projects involving multiple designs, colour schemes, personalised elements, or extensive customisation will be quoted individually.
Volume discounts are offered at the sole discretion of Survivor of Eden and are not guaranteed.
Single Commission Projects
To ensure each commission receives the time, care, curing time, finishing work, and creative attention it deserves, Survivor of Eden requires a minimum notice period of four weeks for all individual bespoke commissions.
This includes:
β’ Intuitive pieces
β’ Bespoke gifts
β’ Memorial pieces
β’ Custom colour commissions
β’ One-off commissioned creations
Commission requests submitted with less than four weeks' notice may be declined depending on current workload, production capacity, and project complexity.
While we understand that some gifts and occasions arise unexpectedly, we are unable to guarantee availability for last-minute requests.
Acceptance of a commission remains subject to studio availability.
Our Design Process
Some projects require more than production.
They require planning, development, symbolism, colour selection, sourcing, and creative direction.
For larger bespoke projects we may recommend a Bespoke Project Design Service.
This service may include:
β’ Consultation
β’ Concept development
β’ Colour palette development
β’ Symbol and crystal selection
β’ Production planning
β’ Material sourcing
β’ Creation of a sample or prototype piece
Bespoke Project Design Fees
Projects up to 50 pieces:
Β£50
Includes:
β’ Up to 2 hours of development time
β’ One prototype or sample piece where required
Projects exceeding 50 pieces:
Β£75
Includes:
β’ Up to 3 hours of development time
β’ One prototype or sample piece where required
Additional development time, consultations, redesigns, significant amendments, additional prototypes, or substantial changes to the agreed concept may incur further fees.
Projects requiring extensive design work, specialist sourcing, multiple prototypes, or complex planning may be quoted individually through a personalised Project Design Package.
When a Design Fee is NOT Required
A design fee is generally not required for straightforward production orders where the design, mould, quantity, and colour palette have already been agreed.
Example:
β 100 white and gold angels using the same mould
No design fee required.
Example:
β A fully bespoke wedding collection designed around a couple's story, symbolism, colour palette, and guest experience
Design fee required.
Communication
Survivor of Eden is a small artisan studio.
Clients are commissioning a finished outcome to be delivered within an agreed timeline rather than purchasing ongoing access to the artist throughout the production process.
Communication typically takes place during:
β’ Initial discussions
β’ Design approval
β’ Contract and payment confirmation
β’ Completion and dispatch
To protect production time and ensure projects remain on schedule, daily updates, ongoing progress reports, frequent status requests, or regular photographs of work in progress are not included within our standard services.
The Bespoke Project Design Service includes a defined amount of consultation and development time. Clients are commissioning a finished outcome rather than unlimited access to the artist throughout the project.
Additional consultations, meetings, project management, reporting, revisions, or communication beyond the agreed project scope may incur additional fees.
We are committed to creating beautiful pieces for our clients. We are not able to provide daily updates, continuous project management services, or unlimited design consultations as part of our standard commission packages.
Lead Times
As every piece is individually handmade, please allow sufficient time for design, production, curing, finishing, and quality control.
Mini Pieces (up to 6 cm)
6β8 weeks
Medium Pieces (over 6 cm)
12β16 weeks
Large Event Orders
Minimum 6 months before the event date.
Projects received with shorter notice may be declined depending on availability, production capacity, and project complexity.
Design Approval
Once a design, colour palette, quantities, and project specifications have been approved, a Commission Agreement will be issued.
Production begins only after:
β’ The Commission Agreement has been signed
β’ The required Initial Commission Payment has been received
At this stage, materials are ordered, production time is reserved, and the project enters the production phase.
For this reason, changes to the approved design, colour palette, mould selection, packaging specifications, personalisation details, quantities, or project scope cannot be accepted once production has commenced.
Should substantial changes be requested after approval, the original project will be deemed cancelled and a new quotation, design process, and Commission Agreement may be required.
The only exception may be an increase in quantity, subject to material availability, production capacity, and project timelines.
Where additional quantities can be accommodated, an addendum to the original Commission Agreement will be issued.
Commission Payments
All commissioned pieces are created specifically for the client.
Once a project has been approved, an Initial Commission Payment is required before production can begin.
Standard Commissions
50% Initial Commission Payment
Large Projects & Event Orders
Up to 75% Initial Commission Payment may be required depending on project requirements, supplier commitments, materials, and production requirements.
The remaining balance is payable once the project has been completed and is ready for shipping or collection.
Production will not commence until the required Initial Commission Payment has been received.
As production requires the purchase of materials, reservation of production capacity, supplier orders, and project scheduling, Initial Commission Payments become non-refundable once production has commenced.
Packaging & Personalisation
Individual packaging, personalised tags, guest names, presentation upgrades, and similar services may be available for selected projects.
These services are always quoted separately.
As these services may require third-party suppliers, the full cost of packaging and personalisation services must be paid before any supplier orders are placed.
Please note that personalised elements may increase production times and should be discussed during the planning stage of the project.
At this time, Survivor of Eden does not offer engraving, laser etching, or similar specialist personalisation services.
Where possible, pieces may be designed to allow future engraving or personalisation by a specialist chosen by the client.
Project Suitability
Survivor of Eden reserves the right to decline, pause, or discontinue a project where:
β’ Project requirements change substantially from the original brief
β’ The requested timeline becomes unworkable
β’ Communication becomes abusive, inappropriate, unreasonable, or places demands on the studio beyond the agreed project scope
β’ Repeated requests are made for additional design work, consultations, revisions, reporting, or services beyond those included within the agreed project scope
β’ The project no longer aligns with the values, capabilities, artistic direction, or available capacity of the studio
Where a project is discontinued during the design stage, any completed design work, consultation time, prototypes, and planning services remain chargeable.
Any completed prototype or sample pieces may be shipped to the client and the project formally concluded.
Apply to Work With Us
Due to the handmade nature of our work and the limited number of bespoke projects we accept each year, larger commissions and event orders begin with a Project Enquiry.
To discuss your project, please email:
with the subject line:
Project Enquiry β Your Name
Please include:
β’ Your name
β’ Event type or project description
β’ Event date (if applicable)
β’ Approximate quantity required
β’ Desired budget range
β’ Preferred colour palette
β’ Any symbolism, themes, crystals, flowers, colours, or special requirements
β’ Your desired timeline
β’ The story behind the project, event, recipient, or occasion
β’ Why you would like to work with Survivor of Eden
β’ Any additional information you feel may help us understand your vision
The more information you can provide, the better we can determine whether we are the right fit for your project.
Understanding your budget helps us develop concepts that are both meaningful and realistic. Our goal is to create something you can genuinely move forward with, rather than presenting ideas that may fall outside your expectations or available budget.
Understanding your story helps us determine whether the project aligns with our creative style and allows us to create something meaningful and personal.
Submission of an enquiry does not guarantee acceptance of a project.
We reserve the right to accept or decline commissions based on availability, project suitability, production capacity, artistic considerations, and scheduling requirements.
A Final Note
Survivor of Eden is not a mass-production studio.
Every piece is individually handcrafted and may display slight variations in colour, pattern, finish, and detail.
No two pieces are ever exactly alike.
We are proud to create meaningful handmade pieces for our clients and their special occasions. In return, we ask for clear communication, realistic timelines, respect for the creative process, and trust in the work we do.
After all, beautiful things take time.
And we believe they are worth waiting for.
